Dawn Utsumi

Dawn Utsumi is a skilled civil litigator with extensive experience in complex business litigation. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University and a Doctor of Law degree from Southwestern University School of Law, Dawn has represented both defendants and plaintiffs in cases involving insurance, intellectual property, structured finance, securities fraud, energy, and mass tort. She joined DTO Law in 2008 and has worked on all aspects of civil litigation, from pre-lawsuit strategy to post-trial motions and appeals. Her experience extends to state and federal courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution forums. Prior to joining DTO Law, Dawn served as an associate at Quinn Emanuel and worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States District Court.
