Dawn Nida

Dawn Nida is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in laboratory leadership, application engineering, and research and development.

She has expertise in developing microfluidics, molecular (PCR), and protein-based assays for in vitro diagnostics (IVD), point of care, and laboratory applications using various platforms such as AlphaLISA, LANCE, DELFIA, Luminex, and innovative technologies.

Dawn's work with leading life science companies has established her as a subject matter expert in assay development, offering executive and sales support, engineering consultations, and sales training to global life sciences sales teams.

She holds a Ph.D. from Rice University's Optical Spectroscopy Laboratory and has completed her Postdoctoral work at MIT's Nanoscale Sensing Laboratory. Additionally, she has a Master’s of Science in Materials Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Dawn's career includes roles such as Staff Materials Engineer at Roche, Applications Manager at PerkinElmer, Inc., Scientist II at Luminex Corporation, Biomedical Consultant and Board Advisor at Consultant, Biomedical Engineer & Materials Engineer at US Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center, and Post Doctoral Researcher at MIT Nanoscale Sensing Lab.

She has previous experience as a PhD Student at Rice University, Process Engineer at Samsung, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from the University of Florida.
