These were years of growing the organization to a formidable community resources.  I co-founded a program initially called Navigating Autism at MSP, an airport program developed for families, along with their autistic child/adult can be supported by experiencing the airport in a safe and sensory friendly way.  The program is very successful, meeting monthly and including anyone with any disability, and is now called Navigation MSP. I co-founded a new program called the VITALS app, law enforcement could now support the more vulnerable in our community in any situation. I focused on training Law Enforcement on the skills to use this vital app, and continue training on autism. I grew the finance department in the area of forecasting and budgeting, and added software that brought the organization fully into GAAP rules and policy. I procured Covid funding totaling over $843,000 through available funding with PPP Loans and ERC funding. I took on the position of Interim Executive Director while we were in transition, including the interviewing of candidates.

Senior Director Of Human Resources, Operations, & Finances, Education and Training

Finance, Operations, HR along with training and presenting statewide about Autism. I developed the training for adolescents and adults to teach families, and took this training into corporations for lunch and learns. I developed, with partners statewide, 3 extensive Autism trainings for 1st Responders in Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS. The trainings were done daily over 8 weeks, and I trained professionals in each field of specialty with Autism experience to also be trainers. That training has now become law in Minnesota for Law Enforcement. I wrote an article with Kelly Thomalla in the Winter 2012-2013 edition of MN Police Chief Magazine.

Director Of Human Resources, Finance And Operations

Provided the bookkeeping, HR and Payroll for the organization in support of the Executive Director. In addition, I developed and presented classes and workshops about Autism statewide to families, teachers and professionals. I took on Operations and increased the staff to include Events, Fundraising and Education.
