David Yates is a highly accomplished rolling stock chartered engineer with over 40 years of experience in the railway industry. He holds a B.Sc (Hons.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Manchester University. Throughout his career, David has worked with multiple companies in various senior positions.

Currently, he serves as a part-time rolling stock consultant at WSP in the UK. Prior to this, he worked as the Rolling Stock Project Manager for the Tel Aviv Metro Red Line Project at WSP in the Middle East. David has also held notable positions such as a Rolling Stock Project Manager at PARSONS BRINCKERHOFF, Rolling Stock Expert at Deutsche Bahn International, and Principal Rolling Stock Engineer at Parsons Brinckerhoff.

With his extensive experience and knowledge, David has played a vital role in projects such as the extension of the Dubai Metro Green Line, the Tel Aviv Red Line, and various UK-based railway programmes.
