David Xiao is an experienced technology professional with a background in hardware engineering and project management. He has worked for two of the largest tech companies in the world: Apple and Facebook. At Apple, David served as a Senior Battery Engineering Manager and later as a System Battery Engineering (SBE) manager. During his 6+ years at Apple, he managed the development and launch of multiple Apple products, including the iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. After leaving Apple, David joined Facebook as a Manager for Mechanical Design Engineering (MDE), where he continues to work. In this role, he leads a team responsible for developing and designing Facebook's data center hardware.
