    David Wright is an executive level leader with over two decades of experience in leading development and humanitarian programs across 25 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, Middle East, and Latin America.

    With a Master's degree in Rural Development from University College Dublin, David has a strong academic background to support his extensive practical experience.

    He has served in key roles at Save the Children International, including Chief Operating Officer, Regional Director for West and Central Africa, East and Southern Africa, and East Africa, among other leadership positions.

    His experience includes managing large complex programs exceeding $400 million annually, overseeing more than 6000 staff in challenging and insecure environments.

    Prior to his time at Save the Children, David held various positions at Concern Universal, working as a Global Partner Development Coordinator, Country Director for Guinea Conakry and Ghana, and serving as a Rural Development Consultant.

    He has also worked in field roles such as Country Director for Nepal-Bhutan and Pakistan at Save the Children, and as a Team Leader for various projects in countries like Mozambique, Gaza, Darfur, and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) in Pakistan.

    David Wright's experience spans across strategic program development, emergency response, leadership in rural communities, and partnerships with international organizations, reflecting a diverse and well-rounded career in the humanitarian sector.
