David Wright
David Wright is an experienced and award-winning Director of Photography / Cinematographer, who has worked on numerous features, documentaries, and commercials. He is also a Phantom HD Camera Operator, certified through Abel Cine Tech. He has a special interest in natural history, wildlife, human interest, expedition & science. Wright has served as a visiting expert for National Geographic and as a photography workshop leader at Silversea Cruises. He has also been a final judge at the International Wildlife Media Center & Film Festivals. Wright has worked as a Director of Photography at several production companies, including Pioneer Productions, Plimsoll Productions, Leftfield Pictures, Jarret Creative, Tigress Productions, and National Geographic Channel. He has also worked as a Cameraman / Director at BBC and Partridge Films. Wright has a degree in Bachelor Of Arts In Photography, Design from Staffordshire University. He is a former Invited Scholar at the 2012 Aspen Environmental Forum at The Aspen Institute. Wright has been associated with several organizations, including LunaSea Films, National Geographic Society / Lindblad, and Nutopia. His skills include high-speed cinematography, time-lapse cinematography, and motion control cinematography.
