David Womack
Shaper of products and systems
David Womack is a design leader with a passion for complex systems and the people who engage with them. He has a diverse educational background, including an MFA from the University of Virginia, a Darmasiswa Fellowship in Anthropology from Universitas Gadjah Mada, a BA in Philosophy and Literature from Trinity University, Philosophy studies at King's College London, and attending the School of Visual Arts.
Throughout his career, David has held various key positions in prominent organizations. He has been the Head of Strategy at the Strategic Growth Studio in Cognizant, a Strategic Advisor at SPUN, a Co-Founder of b-theory, the Global Head of Experience Strategy at Cognizant, the Executive Creative Director of Experience Design at R/GA, a Faculty member at SVA MFA Interaction Design, and an author of 'Becoming A Digital Designer' published by Wiley and Sons. Additionally, he has served as the Lead for the Adobe ThinkTank at Adobe Systems, the Director of New Media at AIGA, and a Senior Information Architect at Scient.
