David Wezdenko is the Co-Founder and current Chief Executive Officer of Blue Leaf Ventures, a micro venture capital firm that invests in early-stage organizations primarily in the financial, education, and life science sectors.
With over 35 years of experience in operations, technology, finance, and business transformation in the financial services industry, David has held C-suite and senior roles at JP Morgan, Evercore, and Fidelity Investments.
David is actively involved in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, engaging in nationally based entrepreneurial organizations such as Techstars, Astia, Keiretsu, and the Angel Capital Association.
He serves as an independent trustee for the Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company family of mutual funds, trustee for the National Philanthropic Trust, and as a Governing Board member of Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship.
Additionally, David is a board director and treasurer for the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul of Palm Beach County.
David is a Boston College alumnus with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is passionate about mentoring and education, particularly for underserved communities, through his involvement in non-profit organizations like UFlourish, Women's Business Development Council of Connecticut, Breakthrough NY, Catholic Charities of Palm Beach, and Off The Streets Bridgeport.
