David Westerlund

David Westerlund is a seasoned consultant, designer, facilitator, and coach known for his expertise in cultivating resilience, collaborative capacity, and unlocking possibilities within teams.

He specializes in conducting interactive and engaging virtual retreats and workshops aimed at fostering trust, collaboration, and support, particularly during uncertain times.

David's methodology incorporates Applied Improvisation philosophy and practice, as well as the use of Liberating Structures to enhance team collaboration and intelligence.

With a background in Industrial Engineering and interdisciplinary studies from Regent College and the University of Pittsburgh, David brings a unique perspective to his work.

He has also honed his skills through workshops such as the Bootstrapper's Workshop #1 at Seth Godin's Akimbo Workshops.

David Westerlund is the founder of David Westerlund Consulting, LLC, where he serves as a consultant, designer, facilitator, and coach.

Previously, he held roles as the Director of Development and as an Administrator and Operations personnel at Tierra Nueva.

Before his consultancy work, David was active in various roles such as a Children's Book Author, Photographer, and Designer at Face and Place Books, an Environmental Consultant at Whatcom Environmental Services, and a campus minister at CCO Campus Ministry.
