David Welch

David Welch is an innovative and resourceful IT executive with over 20 years of experience in leadership roles across various industries like finance, manufacturing, higher education, and Internet businesses.

He has a strong background in AV/VTC strategy, system design, program and project management, network infrastructure, service delivery models, organization building, cross-functional initiatives, and client liaison.

With 11 years as president of Centofex, a consultancy firm, David has been a notable industry leader in video-based communications and enterprise collaboration infrastructure.

His technical expertise includes network systems architecture, business technology analysis, VoIP, AV/VTC, immersive telepresence, collaboration systems, VoD, TVoIP, digital signage, surveillance, and various protocols like H.323, SIP, and LAN WAN MAN design.

David holds a BS in Physics from Indiana University Bloomington and has experience in on-site project management in 10 countries.
