David Webster is a renowned figure in the world of animated comedy, excelling as both a producer and director. Together with his business partner, Patrick Egerton, they lead a collection of animated kids' entertainment brands, originating from original ideas or acquired concepts.
At Cheeky Little Media, David Webster has seen successful completion of projects like The Kazoops, Bottersnikes & Gumbles, and Spongo, Fuzz & Jalapena. Presently, the team is engaged in producing Kangaroo Beach for ABC, a pre-school program focused on teaching children about water safety. Additionally, projects like Monster Teddies, Zac Power, and Pretzel & Pickle are in various stages of development at Cheeky Little Media.
David Webster's career highlights include serving as a producer and the animation director for the initial season of The Adventures of Figaro Pho. This venture was recognized with prestigious accolades such as two Kidscreen awards for best animation and best design, along with the 2013 AACTA award for best Australian kids program.
Before his tenure at Figaro Pho, David Webster contributed to three seasons of the CGI animation Erky Perky, a collaborative effort between Canada and Australia, where he served as the overall series director, working with broadcasters Seven and YTV.
David Webster pursued his education at the University Of Georgia for a Bachelor's in Music and earned a Master's in Computer Science from San Francisco State University.
