David Vago

David Vago is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in cognitive neuroscience, contemplative neurosciences, affective neuroscience, psychology, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, integrative medicine, and various other fields. With a PhD and M.S. in Cognitive & Neural Sciences from the University of Utah and a B.A. in Brain & Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester, he has a strong academic foundation.

Having held roles such as Research Associate at Brigham & Women's Hospital, Scientific Advisor to the well-being and health technology industry, Research Consultant for the meditation and psychedelic research community, and Director of Neurosciences and co-Director of Communications for the International Society for Contemplative Research, David has showcased his expertise in various capacities.

David Vago's career has seen him contribute significantly to research and education at renowned institutions like Weill Cornell, Harvard, and Vanderbilt University Medical Schools. His work has primarily focused on the science and practice of integrative health, mind and body practices, psychopathology, chronic pain, stress, learning and memory, functional neuroimaging, and health technology.
