David Trainer

David Trainer is the CEO of New Constructs, LLC, a position he has held since July 2002. Under his leadership, New Constructs aims to provide comprehensive and unconflicted financial research, making sophisticated analysis accessible to all investors. The company's technology focuses on illuminating complex financial filings, enabling informed investment decisions regarding public and private stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds.1

Trainer has a robust background in finance, having previously served as a Senior Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he managed a project aimed at improving research quality through value-based analysis. He was also a Senior Research Analyst at Epoch Partners and a Managing Partner at Novo Capital Management, LLC, where he utilized New Constructs research for managing a hedge fund.1

In addition to his corporate roles, Trainer was a member of the Investors Advisory Committee for the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) from 2013 to 2017, where he contributed to discussions on accounting rule modifications to enhance investor disclosures.1

He holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Trinity University and has professional proficiency in French.1
