David Thomas

David Chandler Thomas is a seasoned economist, serial entrepreneur, and academician with three decades of experience in the tech industry. He has successfully founded and led multiple companies, raising over 75 million dollars in seed, strategic, and venture capital. He is the managing director at Faqtors Consulting, providing expert witness services and business intelligence. David is an assistant professor of economics at Ball State University and is part of the advisory board for the College of Health and Human Services at George Mason University.

David earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) from San Jose State University and his Master of Arts (MA) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in economics from George Mason University. He has held various executive positions, including Executive Director of the Software Industry Association and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at TechAmerica. Recently, he represented the tech industry as the Chairman and CEO of Sage Intacct, Inc., one of the leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies with over 9,000 enterprise customers.
