David Swain

David Swain is the Co-Founder and CEO of Prokit, a platform designed to connect athletes and outdoor enthusiasts. He co-founded Prokit with Angela Zaeh, aiming to create a space for athletes to share their experiences and narratives. The idea for Prokit emerged in 2013 when Swain sought a better way to connect with fellow endurance athletes.13

Before his role at Prokit, Swain served as the Vice President of Partnerships and Content Strategy at Strava, where he joined through the acquisition of Prokit. His career also includes nearly a decade at Meta (formerly Facebook), where he held various leadership roles, including Head of Global Communications for Instagram's management team and leading communications for Facebook Platform.12

Swain holds a B.S. in Psychology and Economics from St. Lawrence University. His professional journey reflects a strong focus on communications and partnerships within the tech and sports sectors, making him a notable figure in the intersection of technology and athleticism.12
