David Strik

David Strik is an accomplished professional with a strong academic background in Environmental Technology and Biotechnology.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Technology from HAS University of Applied Sciences, a Ph.D. in Environmental Biotechnology from University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, and an engineer's degree in Environmental Technology from Wageningen University & Research.

Currently, David Strik serves as an Associate Professor at Wageningen University & Research, where he leverages his expertise in the field.

He has previously held positions such as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) and Co-founder/Co-CEO at Plant-e, further showcasing his leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

Prior to his current roles, David Strik has also worked as an Assistant Professor, Postdoc, and E-business Software Engineer at Wageningen University & Research and Sogeti, respectively.
