David L. Steinberg is the Director of Debate and Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in Communication Studies at the University of Miami.12 He has held this position since 1990, directing UM's Debate Program for over 34 years.13 Steinberg is an expert in political debates, argumentation and rhetoric, speeches, and political campaigns.4
