David Sontag

David Sontag is an Associate Professor at MIT and the Chief Health Strategist at ASAPP. He serves as the General Chair for UAI 2021 and is affiliated with MIT CSAIL and AIHealthMIT. David completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at MIT and earned a BA in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. His professional background includes roles as the CEO of Layer Health, a Professor in EECS at MIT, a Principal Scientist and Chief Health Strategist at ASAPP, an Assistant Professor at New York University, a Postdoctoral Researcher at Microsoft Research New England, and a Research and Engineering Intern at Google.
