David Shomaker

David Shomaker is a seasoned businessman and company founder residing in Brooklyn, NY, with extensive experience spanning 22 years working in various roles and businesses within China and Asia.

After graduating from Middlebury College in 2000, David initiated his career journey by becoming a product manager for an electronics manufacturer in Asia, subsequently establishing a networking company (NetworkPRD, 2008) and a swim club (Dawei Awesome, 2010) in Shenzhen, China.

In response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, David made the decision to shift his base to New York City. Currently, he manages his businesses remotely from Brooklyn, showcasing a robust international skill set and a relentless drive to explore new opportunities.

David's educational background includes studying Psychology and Film as a double major at Middlebury College, delving into film and video production at the University of Southern California, and pursuing Chinese Studies at both Shenzhen University and Middlebury College.

In his professional journey, David has served as the Founder and General Manager of Dawei Awesome Swim Program, the Managing Director at Network PRD, the Head of Sales at Doberman Security Products, Inc, and a Product Manager at Wellmike Enterprise Co., LTD.
