David Schlesinger

David Schlesinger is an accomplished executive with vast experience in engineering management, open source development, and social media. He has successfully delivered full-scale commercial operating systems such as the Mac OS and Palm OS. With a degree in Mathematics from New York University and a background in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft at Bard College, Schlesinger is a multifaceted leader with excellent project management and communication skills. He has presented and participated in various technology summits, including the iPhone Developers' Summit, InterOp, and Open Source in Mobile, to name a few. Schlesinger has held key positions in various organizations, such as the Director of Open Source Technologies/Social Media at ACCESS Systems Americas, Inc, and Director of Core Tools and Technologies at PalmSource, Inc. Currently, Schlesinger is the owner of McFate Heavy Industries/Acme Dot Company.
