David Scher

David Scher is an experienced investor with a 15-year background in investing in small-cap companies, both public and pre-IPO, using his family's capital.

In 2017, David founded Small-Cap Institute, Inc., a comprehensive educational resource aimed at executives and board members of small public companies, to help them navigate the unique challenges they face.

Before his role at Small-Cap Institute, David worked at LD Micro, where he was involved in managing the construction of the LD Micro Index and overseeing the rebuild of the ldmicro.com website. He also played a key role in organizing LD Micro's prominent industry conferences that facilitate numerous one-on-one meetings between investors and micro-cap companies.

David's educational background includes studies at the Small-Cap Institute.

Apart from his ventures in the investment industry, David has served in various capacities such as being an Associate Board Member at Bay Federal Credit Union and in operations at LD Micro, which is now owned by SRAX, Inc.
