David Saltiel

David Saltiel is currently serving as the Acting Director of the Division of Trading and Markets at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).15 He has been in this role since December 10, 2024, following the departure of Haoxiang Zhu.14
Saltiel has been with the SEC since 2016, initially joining as the head of the Office of Analytics and Research in the Division of Trading and Markets.23 He was appointed as a Deputy Director in the Division of Trading and Markets in November 2021.1
