David Rotenberg

David Rotenberg is the Senior Vice President of Research & Development (R&D) and Engineering at Telefire, a position he has held since August 2020. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all technical and product aspects of the company, which includes R&D, engineering, cybersecurity, information systems, IT, and data analytics.

His responsibilities encompass:

• Serving as a member of senior management, collaborating closely with the CEO to establish governance frameworks that ensure organizational objectives are met and risks are effectively managed.
• Leading the development of both long- and short-term product strategies.
• Analyzing the impact of growth initiatives and regulatory actions on the organization.
• Providing strategic input on decision-making issues, particularly regarding potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships.
• Leading and expanding teams of software, real-time embedded, and hardware engineers.
• Ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality projects and products.
• Defining and improving development processes and establishing engineering standards to achieve optimal performance.1

Prior to his current role, Rotenberg held various positions, including Senior R&D Director at Lumenis, where he led IoT and Big Data implementations, and he has also been involved in several other technical and managerial roles throughout his career.1
