FOODCHAIN also focuses on providing insights into the carbon footprint of products, supporting transparency and environmental sustainability.

The ecosystem includes trading platforms for farmers and buyers to connect, negotiate, and facilitate transparent food purchases.

Additionally, FOODCHAIN Pay Platform offers a range of digital financial services like payments, money transfers, and financing solutions for farmers using blockchain technology.

David Proenza has collaborated with prominent organizations like IICA, CAF, and various governments, retail outlets, and insurance companies in the food and supply chain ecosystem.

He studied at Florida State University and previously served as the President at the Foundation for the Development of Controlled Environment Agriculture.
