David Powell

David Powell is a co-founder of International Sunshine Home, a renowned bilingual school in Xiamen established in 2010.

The educational institution follows a Western teaching approach with a focus on positive reinforcement, creativity, and small class sizes, drawing inspiration from the Montessori method.

Sunshine Home emphasizes language development and science skills, maintaining a low student-to-staff ratio with at least three staff members for every 18 students.

David Powell holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Southern California, and has also studied at Chaminade.

Prior to his role at Sunshine Home, he worked as a Finance Consultant at Yong Zheng Tax Consultancy.
