David Porter

David Porter is a highly accomplished engineer and business expert with a passion for optimization and problem-solving. With a focus on operations consulting and technical breakthroughs, David has established himself as a key player in various organizations throughout his career. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, which he earned with honors.

During his career, David has held various leadership and engineering roles, including most recently serving as the General Manager at L3 Open Water Power. Previously, he served as the Director of Engineering at the same company. Prior to working with L3 Open Water Power, David garnered valuable experience as the Design Engineer/Assistant Race Engineer at Nissan LMP1 World Endurance Championship. He has also established his own engineering firm, Porter Design Inc, and served as the company’s President and Lead Engineer.

Before that, David worked as a Senior Consultant and Associate at Stroud International, where he was responsible for driving results to the bottom line through his technical expertise. He also held an Engineering Internship with Global Energy at General Motors earlier in his career.
