David Ocampo is an Amsterdam-based professional with a diverse career trajectory. Born in 1982, he grew up in the city center and attended Nicolaas Maes school, Fons Vitae Lyceum, and the Universiteit van Amsterdam, where he studied biomedical sciences. After completing his studies, Ocampo worked in various industries, including international transport and merchandising, before finding his passion in the mortgage sector. In 2015, he worked at Woonfonds hypotheken as an interim desk account manager, gaining valuable experience and knowledge about the industry. He later joined a.s.r de Nederlandse verzekeringsmaatschappij voor alle verzekeringen, but found little satisfaction until he switched to Expat Mortgages in 2018. Outside of work, Ocampo enjoys traveling, boating, and spending time with friends. He is also politically active, serving as a Stadsdeelcommissielid Amsterdam Zuid PvdA member.
