David Murillo

David Murillo is an International Relations professional and a fluent English and Portuguese teacher, currently serving as an Investment Promotion & Aftercare Executive at the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE).

In his role at CINDE, David collaborates with various sectors under the organization's umbrella, with a specific focus on Manufacturing. He has a proven track record in Foreign Direct Investment Projects, aiding companies in their establishment and aftercare processes in Costa Rica, particularly in Customs and Environmental permits.

David is a dedicated team player who strongly believes in CINDE's mission towards Costa Rica's development, emphasizing the creation of quality job opportunities for the local population. He excels in leadership, data analysis, strategic planning, mentoring, and training.

CINDE, a private, non-profit organization of public interest since 1984, is entrusted with attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into Costa Rica.

David's educational background includes Advanced Level studies in Portuguese Language and Literature at Centro de Estudios Brasileños, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Universidad Nacional.

Prior to his current role, David held positions such as Property Commercial Executive at Improsa Banca de Inversión, Tourism Infrastructure Executive, Change Management Lead, and Quality Assurance Specialist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and teaching roles at Wizard Language Education Center and CPI - Centro Panamericano de Idiomas.
