David Melchor

David Melchor is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with a rich background in the entertainment, digital media, and health care sectors, boasting over 20 years of industry experience.

In 1995, while still a college senior, David co-founded Empire Entertainment, an agency specializing in entertainment and youth marketing. The company excelled in event production and experiential marketing, handling BTL strategic programs for major global brands.

Transitioning to the digital realm, David established Wireless Idea in 2003 with a groundbreaking vision to create the first digital content distribution platform in Latin America. Under his leadership, Wireless Idea quickly rose to prominence, becoming the go-to mobile distribution platform for the LATAM and US Hispanic markets, achieving an impressive annual revenue of over $100 million. In 2015, the mobile entertainment business of Wireless Idea in Latin America was acquired by Terra Networks, a Telefonica subsidiary.

In 2017, David embarked on a new venture by co-founding Pravan Health, a pioneering holistic health and wellness platform in Puerto Rico. The main focus of Pravan Health Group is to promote healthy lifestyles by offering technology-driven, patient-centric health services that encompass wellness, preventive healthcare, and urgent care.
