David Jargiello

David M. Jargiello is a Partner at VLP Law Group LLP and Chair of its Professional Responsibility and Risk Management Practice Group, bringing over 30 years of experience in business transactions in San Francisco and Silicon Valley.

He has been serving as the firm's General Counsel and is well known for his expertise in complex corporate finance, corporate securities, fiduciary duty, and risk management matters, mainly representing venture capital funds, professional services firms, and legal technology companies.

David played a crucial role in the establishment of VLP Law Group LLP in 2008, showcasing his experience as one of the most seasoned law firm general counsels in the country.

Aside from his legal practice, David is a Lecturer at UC Berkeley and Golden Gate University, where he imparts knowledge on Securities Regulation, Venture Capital Finance, Transactional Drafting, and Professional Responsibility.

He is also actively involved in the legal community as a member of the State Bar of California's Committee on Professional Liability Insurance (COPLI) and has previously served on its Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct (COPRAC).

Furthermore, David Jargiello holds a JD from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, an MS from Stanford University, and a BA from Case Western Reserve University. He also holds the position of Venture Partner and Advisory Limited Partner at Flywheel Ventures, a seed and early-stage venture capital firm based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
