Dr. David Livingston

Dr. David Livingston is an adjunct professor at the University of North Dakota's Graduate School of Space Studies, where he teaches courses related to space commerce economics, ethics, and management. He is also the founder and host of The Space Show, a radio program dedicated to discussions about space commerce and development, which airs multiple times each week.12
Education and Career
Dr. Livingston holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona, an MBA in International Business Management from Golden Gate University, and a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the same institution. His doctoral dissertation focused on "Outer Space Commerce: Its History and Prospects".1 He has previously taught at Golden Gate University and guest lectured at several other universities, including Stanford University.1

His academic work includes presentations at numerous national and international space conferences. Topics he covers range from venture capital for space investments to business ethics in off-Earth ventures. Dr. Livingston has published a Code of Ethics for Off-Earth Commerce and is a contributing author to the book Beyond Earth: The Future of Humans In Space.13
In addition to his academic pursuits, he has over 25 years of experience in various industries, including oil and gas exploration, real estate development, and finance. He is also involved in promoting awareness about space settlement and development through various initiatives.13
