David Lewis

David Lewis is a specialist in wooden yachts with expertise in global yacht deliveries and rescue operations.

He offers services ranging from purchasing or leasing yachts, sailing lessons, living aboard, to chartering in Asia and worldwide.

David's specialties include carpentry and joinery (Advanced City and Guilds qualification). He excels in assembling and managing teams for yacht projects and managing remote island destinations for eco and health-style resorts.

With a background as a former Professional and Technical Officer for the British Government, David has overseen various sectors like building, civil engineering, mechanical & electrical, managing a team of 150 employees including masons, carpenters, and contractors for maintenance, film, corporate, and tourist events.

He has pursued his education in various locations such as Brighton and Abingdon in the UK, Melbourne in Australia, and Hawaii in the USA. Additionally, he attended the Excellerated Learning Institute for Entrepreneurs.

David Lewis has been involved with several organizations including being the Events Manager & Senior Instructor at cata.hk, a former sole proprietor & partner consultant at bluesurround.com and cata.hk, and previously holding positions at cadw.co.uk and cadw.wales.gov.hk overseeing technical and professional aspects related to building, civil engineering, mechanical & electrical works, conservation, events, new works, and historic tourism.
