    As the President, CEO, and Board Member of The American College of Healthcare Trustees, his mission is to uphold good governance within healthcare institutions. Dr. Levien is a published author of three surgical books and numerous papers and holds a patent for a medical device. He has also served as a Program Director for Surgical Residency for 12 years and holds the highest faculty ranks at Jefferson Medical College and New York Medical College.

    Beyond his medical expertise, Dr. Levien is a licensed financial professional, with experience in life and health insurance, as well as various investment and insurance products. His diverse skill set includes strategic planning and idealized design, evidenced by his past roles at organizations like St. Agnes Hospital, Houlton Regional Hospital, and Episcopal Hospital.
