David Lanham

David Lanham is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in public policy communications, dedicated to increasing access to accurate information, addressing disparities, and enhancing the quality of life for everyone.

Currently serving at the Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program (Brookings Metro), David collaborates with policy experts to promote research and drive discussions on various critical domestic policy issues such as economic development, labor, technology, infrastructure, workforce development, housing, racial justice, and demographic shifts.

With a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Policy from The College of William and Mary, David Lanham has held significant leadership roles, including Director of Communications at The Brookings Institution, Assistant Director of Communications at The Brookings Institution, as well as Communications Manager at the Metropolitan Policy Program at The Brookings Institution.

Prior to his tenure at Brookings, David Lanham has also served as the Director of Communications at Alliance to Save Energy and held communication roles at the National Environmental Education Foundation. His professional journey includes positions as Communications Manager, Communications Coordinator, Associate, and internships at the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Bureau of the Fiscal Service.
