David J. McConomy, MBA, CPA,CA

David J. McConomy, MBA, CPA, CA, is a seasoned professional with over thirty years of experience in the high tech industry, specializing in senior financial roles.

Before his tenure at Queen's School of Business starting in 2001, David held various leadership positions, including being the VP Finance and Administration, CFO at Systemhouse Limited.

In 1984, he founded McConomy & Company Ltd., a successful consulting firm where he provided senior financial leadership to numerous companies, focusing on improving financial performance through debt or equity offerings.

During his career, David has raised over $200 million for companies, demonstrating his expertise in financial management and fundraising.

David's educational background includes an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Queen's University, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Loyola College, and completing his CA at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.

He has also served as an Assistant Professor at Smith School of Business at Queen's University and held the position of President at both QC Quadrant Corporation and McConomy & Company Ltd.
