Dr. David Hunn is a highly accomplished consultant and adjunct Professor with extensive expertise in ground vehicle design, ballistics, armor, lethality, hypersonics, and materials engineering.
He has specialized knowledge in high temperature materials, carbon-carbon, ceramics, metallics, and materials characterization, with a specific focus on hypersonic structure design and ground vehicle survivability approaches.
Dr. Hunn is a distinguished Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors and a former Senior Fellow at Lockheed Martin Corporation, where he spent 40 years in various key roles.
He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, additionally, he is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas with a recent Top Secret security clearance.
Throughout his career, Dr. Hunn has received numerous accolades, including the Louis and Edith Zernow Award and recognition as Lockheed Martin Inventor of the Year, University of Texas at Arlington Distinguished Alumni, and more.
