David began his professional journey as a management consultant at McKinsey and Company in Los Angeles.2 He then moved to New York in 2005 to work for L Brands, where he served as Vice President of Operations and Commercialization Services.2 For the past 15 years, he has been involved in consumer tech startups, including Quidsi, which was acquired by Amazon in 2011.2 Most recently, he was the CEO and co-founder of Fyt, the nation's largest online marketplace connecting people with certified personal trainers.12
Nonprofit Involvement
Prior to joining Hope for New York, David developed a passion for serving the poor and marginalized through volunteering with various HFNY affiliates, including The Father's Heart, World Vision, and City Relief.2 He also served as Board Chair of Restore NYC from 2010 to 2023, leveraging his business and startup experience to help grow the organization into a recognized leader in the anti-trafficking field.12
