David Hulett is a skilled and multifaceted professional with a passion for serving his community through educational and economic development. He is an accomplished graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a dual Bachelor's degree in African and African Diaspora Studies and Anthropology, and is currently studying Law at the Howard University School of Law. Additionally, Hulett has studied Cultural Anthropology in Havana, Cuba, Black Diaspora and Community Engagement in Brazil, Afro-Caribbean Politics and Culture in Nicaragua, and Law at the University of the Western Cape.
Hulett's professional experience is diverse, including work as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Legal Intern at Amazon Studios, a Business Affairs Fellow at United Talent Agency, a Judicial Intern at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and a Venture Capital Graduate Intern at Point Field Partners. He is also a former Lead Photographer at David J. Hulett Photography Co., and a Senior Student Associate & Website Manager at the John L. Warfield Center for African and African American Studies.
