David Hughes

David Hughes is an accomplished Senior Account Executive with a passion for building businesses. He graduated from State University of New York at Binghamton with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Rhetoric, earning an impressive 3.6 GPA. Throughout his time at Binghamton, David sharpened his communication skills, which in turn prepared him for his current role. He is the first sales hire at Cohley, a well-funded and growing influencer marketing platform, where he is responsible for helping companies fill their content gap in a scalable manner. Prior to Cohley, David worked at Yelp in various senior account executive roles. At Yelp, he gained valuable experience in national sales and franchise account management. His extensive background in sales and business development, combined with his love for basketball, allows him to connect with people at ease. David has also volunteered as a teacher's assistant intern at UFSCar - Federal University of São Carlos and contributed as a freelance sports writer/associate news editor at The Sports Journal and isportsweb.com. Beyond his professional work, David enjoys playing basketball despite having two Achilles tendon injuries in the past.
