David Huang

David Huang is a public interest attorney with a focus on workers' rights and employment issues. He served as a Public Interest Law Fellow/Staff Attorney at Southern Migrant Legal Services, A Project of Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, Inc. from September 2020 to January 2022.4 In this role, he confronted exploitative employment practices and working conditions for migrant agricultural workers in the South, providing representation, relief, and justice to this community.23
Huang received his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2019.12 Prior to his fellowship, he clerked for the Honorable Jane B. Stranch of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.1
Currently, Huang works as a Staff Attorney in the Employment Unit at Community Legal Services in Philadelphia. In this position, he represents low-wage workers on workplace justice issues as part of the Workers' Rights and Advocacy Project. He also handles unemployment compensation cases and works on reducing barriers to employment for people with criminal records.1
Huang's educational background includes a B.S. from Cornell University, which he obtained in 2014.1
