David Ryant Hrdlicka

David Hrdlicka is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in business and 12 years in construction. He is an accomplished architect with a Bachelor's degree from the renowned University of Kansas School of Architecture & Urban Design and is a licensed practitioner since 1992. David is also a Columbia Business School alumni, having completed his MBA from the institution. With his creative approach and technical acumen, David has completed numerous projects, always putting his client's needs first, delivering high-quality solutions at an affordable budget. He is particularly experienced in providing practical and creative solutions for construction projects, managing them with great care and ensuring maximum returns on investment.

David has held several senior leadership positions throughout his professional career. He is currently the President of The Shaffer Company LLC and was previously the President, Design-Builder at Ryant Renovation LLC. He also held positions such as Shared Services (CoE) Development Leader & Controller, Operations at GE Capital, EVP, Chief Operating Officer at Interpublic Group - Adverdian, SVP, Chief Operating Officer at Omnicom Group - Team Dell, Enterprise Director at Interpublic Group, Managing VP Finance & Operations – Global Sales at Gartner, Inc., VP Finance & Six Sigma Leader, MBB at GE Capital, and Manager at Andersen Business Consulting.

David recently moved to West Hartford from Ridgefield CT to concentrate on working locally and spend more time with his family. He is highly skilled in managing projects efficiently, adhering to budgets, and developing creative solutions that cater to his client's needs.
