David Holliday

David Holliday is an experienced History Teacher and Leader who has worked in the secondary education industry. He has a passion for curriculum design and planning, along with strong skills in Communication, Coaching, Project Management, Teamwork, and Leadership. David pursued Bachelor of Arts in History at Durham University and completed his PGCE with QTS in Teacher Training at Kingston University.

Throughout his career, David has held various roles at prestigious institutions such as Royal Grammar School Guildford where he was a History Teacher and served as the Key Stage 3 Lead for History. He also had the privilege of being the Head of House at the same school. Additionally, he was a Member of the British Library Teacher’s Network at The British Library and worked as a Graduate Teacher at Merchiston Castle School.

David's professional journey has also seen him contribute to the development and growth of educational and cultural institutes. He worked as an Alumni Relations and Development Officer at University College, Durham and held the position of President of Durham University Rugby League Club during his time at Durham University. His diverse work experience includes roles such as Bartender and Waiter at Henbury Golf Club, Student Intern at PwC, Barman and Security Member at Undercroft Bar, Bartender at Prince Of Wales Pub, and Researcher at Tern TV.
