David Gormley

David Gormley is currently the US West Practice Lead for AI, IoT & Automation at Avanade, a position he has held since September 2023. In this role, he is responsible for leading initiatives that support enterprises on their digital transformation journeys through Data and AI technologies. His previous experience at Avanade includes roles such as Group Manager for Data & AI and Manager for Data & AI, where he focused on growing AI and IoT capabilities and managing various client initiatives across multiple regions, including North America and Europe.1

Gormley has a strong academic background, having been awarded a place in the University of Notre Dame's ESTEEM Masters program as a Naughton Fellow. He also holds a degree in electronic engineering from University College Dublin, where he developed expertise in deep learning and computer vision technology.1 His professional interests lie in leveraging technology to enhance human health and drive innovation in business practices.1
