David Galipeau 高德威

David Galipeau, also known as 高德威, is a Canadian professional with a 35-year hybrid business commercial/development background in finance, publishing, and digital technology in Canada, Europe, and Asia.

He has experience as a corporate executive, dotcom entrepreneur, and social business innovator, having worked with organizations like the United Nations (UNAIDS, UNCTAD) in Geneva and UNDP in the Asia-Pacific region.

David is a Co-founding and Managing Partner of the SDGx Group in Singapore, focusing on researching, accelerating, and investing in technology startups that leverage Artificial Intelligence, IoT/5G, ClimateTech, Automation/Robotics, Cognitive Computing, Nanotechnology, and Biomimicry.

His educational background includes executive leadership courses in Strategic Business Management, Business Financial Management, and Leadership and Management from Harvard Business School, along with degrees in Marketing, Finance, and Technology.

David has also studied Project Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Business at institutions like Clemson University, Munich Business School, and Sir Wilfrid Laurier University.

He is actively involved as a Faculty member at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) and is the Director of the SDGx Yunus Near Future Lab in partnership with Nobel Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus’ Social Business Centers and the Asian Institute of Technology.
