David Finlay

David Finlay is an accomplished Toolmaker and entrepreneur with a passion for engineering product development. Originally from the far west of NSW, Australia, David has an extensive background in Manufacturing, Construction, and AgTech. He is currently the CEO and Founder of MPT AgTech, an innovative company focused on reducing risks associated with large scale cropping operations.

Over the years, David has held numerous positions including Managing Director at Utensil Pty Limited, Advisory Board Member at OrangeNX, R&D Manager and Engineering Designer at Trang Imagineering, and Product Designer at Email Major Appliance Group. With his experience in developing products for agriculture, refrigeration, and mining, David has built a reputation for creating breakthrough innovations that drive change and generate success.

David studied Mechanical Engineering at Tafe NSW and Orange High School, where he honed his skills and developed a deep appreciation for risks involved in farming in constantly changing conditions. He leverages his unique blend of expertise and interests to make a positive impact on the industry and the community.
