Oversee the general office services, facilities space, building, business operations and planning.

Involved with operational financial planning, including tenant improvement capital costs and long-term facilities costs.

Workplace Operations Manager HQ

In this role, I managed a global contract for office moves for Cushman & Wakefield, with accountability for relocations throughout all worldwide properties of Symantec.  I supported site assessments, utilization metrics, and supply and demand studies.

Symantec properties encompassing 11,000 employees and over 3.5 million square feet of space.

I supervised a seven-person team responsible for space planning across expansions, relocations, consolidations, and disposals.  My achievements include the development of data and analytics tools that aid in the formulation of space solutions.

For each move, I work closely with the Real Estate Portfolio Team, Human Resources, Finance, Project Management, Facilities Managers, and CRE team members.

I planned and executed project relocations, working with site-level stakeholders in Facilities, IT, Security, Mail Services, Human Resources to ensure the achievement of all milestones and deliverables are on-time and within budget. 

I was responsible for RFI's, RFP's, SLA's and MSA performance of contractors and the validation and approval of invoices for payment.

As a representative of Jones Lang LaSalle, I directed office move projects for all 11 national locations of Hewlett Packard, Inc. representing over 2 million square feet of space.

I served in a leadership role directing Relocation Project Management services, projects, and work order requests to meet daily P&L targets.

The projects that I managed impacted sites with 20 to 1000 HP employees.  I routinely worked with five Facilities Managers assigned to the 11 HP sites.

For each project, I worked with the Occupancy Planning Team on space allocation, coordinated electrical/data/janitorial services, and updated CAFM/Archibus information in the database.

My achievements included establishing building process flows for each site and working with HP stakeholders to define standard global processes and best practices.

I also established a furniture inventory program for all sites, and communicated furniture changes to the CAD team.  I collaborated with site teams to arrange for the recycling or repurposing of excess furniture.

My performance included meeting all KPI targets and SLA obligations for a key client account.

Senior Manager, Moves with Hewlett Packard, Inc.

In this role, I met the Move/Add/Change needs for four ISS Facilities Managers and three HP Delivery Managers while meeting daily P&L goals.

Oversee major contracts for ISS Facility Services for Hewlett Packard Inc., Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Micro Focus, Aruba, Silicon Graphics, Nimble, & DXC facilities up totaling over 2.6 million square feet.  Managing work order requests for over 6400 employees from multiple organizations.

I instituted change management controls and adopted technologies for work order processes, leading to higher efficiency and increased revenue.

I introduced inventory control and management processes that improved global onboarding.  I also consolidated inventories and migrated data to cloud architecture to improve access.

I served as a liaison between the Space Planning, CAFM, and MAC Services divisions.

Hired as the Business Development Manager for JEi, Corporate Services in San Jose.  I was given the task to help develop the new business in the Bay Area market and added many new dealerships to our list of clients while maintaining our existing client base.  

We opened up new offices in Sacramento and Concord to generate a new client base in these markets.  I also helped develop national business. 

Assigned to manage the Account Managers and Estimators creating a formalized in house training program that could compete with manufacturer type certification training for various product lines.  

I was heavily recruited by a Seattle based firm and a San Francisco firm but decided to expand my talents to a much larger industry in San Francisco.
