David Emes

David Emes is a seasoned Director and Head of Alternatives at Eastspring Investments, with a wealth of experience in the finance and investments industry. Emes holds a degree in Accountancy from Icaew, and has also studied Masters in Engineering at Ecole Centrale de Lyon and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dyson School of Design Engineering. Prior to joining Eastspring Investments, Emes served as the Head of Funds for Global Infrastructure and Natural Resources at Abu Dhabi Investment Council. He was also a former Limited Partner Committee Member at the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) and a Private Equity Fund Manager at Aviva Investors. Emes's vast experience also includes roles such as Investment Manager at Ardian, Senior Investment Manager at Ardian, Private Equity Associate at Pinebridge Investments, Executive at Close Brothers and Senior Associate at PWC. With over three decades of experience in finance and investment, Emes is an expert in private equity fund management, financial analysis, and portfolio management.
