David DeCarlo

David DeCarlo is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background. He holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Stanford Law School, an MBA with a Certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University.

With a wealth of experience in the legal and financial sectors, David has held key positions in various organizations. He currently serves as the Regulatory Innovation Officer at the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for the State of Illinois. Previously, he was the Deputy General Counsel at the same department. David has also worked as an Associate specializing in Financial Regulation at Latham & Watkins, as well as a Policy and Markets Associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

In addition to his professional roles, David DeCarlo has an academic background. He served as a Teaching Assistant for Economic Policy and Negotiations at Stanford University and was a Judicial Extern to Hon. Lucy H. Koh at the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.
