David Daniel

David Daniel is a well-known investor and entrepreneur with a proven track record in building and growing successful companies in both B2B and B2C domains. He has invested in numerous well-known startups, including Pinterest, Hunch (acquired by eBay), and OrderAhead. Currently, he serves as an Investor/board and Director of Acquisitions at Andreessen Horowitz, a Silicon Valley based technology venture capital firm. David has studied B.A. Dual Degree, Economics and Public Policy at Brown University and pursued his MBA from the University of Oxford.

David has experience in directing advanced analytics at PayPal, where he applied statistical techniques, converted customer data into actionable insights, and developed models to predict likely future customer behavior and profitability. He provided analytics subject matter expertise and leadership across all products and channels within Cross Border Domain, and he identified over $20M in incremental revenue opportunities by converting transaction level data into actionable insights.

David has served on the Board of Directors at TransferWise, Opendoor, Earnin, and Plaid. He is currently serving as a Board of Director of Loft, a PropTech ecosystem that empowers real estate agents with technology and helps consumers buy and sell homes in major Latin American markets. David has a curiosity to learn new things and a passion for entrepreneurship, which he exhibits by being a serial entrepreneur himself.
